Mr. & Mrs.Gibson- OBX wedding

On May 19th, 2017 Jennie and Jim tied the knot in Beautiful Kill Devil Hills, NC aka OBX. at Collington Harbor. It was such a beautiful day. Perfect weather for a beach wedding. I met Jennie when she was a bridesmaid in another one of my weddings from last year and immediately I fell in love with her. She’s seriously the coolest person you will ever meet and you are still not cool enough to hang out with her. Just kidding. I met Jim at that wedding as well and the story of their proposal will bring you to tears. Im going to let them share that, but lets just leave it with Jim is a strong man full of immense character and a heart of pure gold. The way he looks at Jennie just wows me.

I mean seriously look at that chemistry in these photos. You can’t fake that. 😉

The ceremony was so beautiful overlooking the sound and look at that killer tree! Breathtaking.

We had a blast with you and all your friends and family! Wishing you many years of happiness. Congrats Jim and Jennie!

This bottom image is Jennies mothers ring from her Dad. There’s nothing I love more than family heirlooms that hold a special place in my brides heart.

Taco’s and Marg’s A Birthday Taco Smash

Theres nothing cuter than a sweet baby turning one covered in cake and icing. I did it for my daughters birthday shoot too. As Ive gotten older Ive realized birthdays aren’t always as fun as they used to be. Thirty looks closer and closer everyday.

When Chelsea messaged me about wanting to do something different for her birthday photoshoot we came up with a taco smash idea. Honestly who doesn’t love tacos? Chelsea LOVES mexican cuisine as do I so of course I said HECK YES!

Since its officially her birthday I can share these now! Happy 26th Birthday to my best friend, business bestie, the Regina George to my Kady Heron. I love you more than you’ll ever know and you’ve blessed me in so many ways! Heres to you boo!

🙂

P.S. Thank you to El Sabor for letting us crash your restaurant and turning it into a photoshoot. P.S.S Thanks for the sombrero.
